Guideline for Attestation of documents (Pakistan & US origin)
Power of Attorney
POA by a Pakistani Citizen (CNIC/NIOP Holders)
Following are the mandatory requirements:
  • Executant(s)’s Personal appearance.
  • Un-signed POA document (to be signed in personal appearance).
  • Valid NICOP/CNIC/POC
  • State issued photo ID
  • Witnesses personal appearance is optional
  • Photo of the ‘Executant(s) don’t staple (paste only at the appropriate place of the POA.

 

 

POA by a US Citizen (OR dual national without Pakistani ID)
Following are the mandatory requirements:
  • 'Apostilled POA' from the Secretary of State Office of the relevant US State.
  • 'Apostilled' Passport & State issued Photo ID of the Executant(s) for identity purpose.
  • Passport & Driving License number of the ‘Executant(s)’ must be incorporated in the POA.
  • Valid US driving license is required and personal appearance of ‘Executant(s) is required.
  • If required, photo of the ‘Executor(s) may be affixed at the appropriate place of the POA document.

Attestation of Pakistan/US origin document(s)
Attestation of Document (Pakistan Origin)
  • Pakistani Origin document(s) must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its ‘Camp Offices’ at Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.

Attestation of Document (US Origin)
  • US Origin document must be ‘Apostilled’ from the office of the Secretary of State where the document was issued/notarized.
  • Copy of valid US driving license is required. In case of Business entity, a request letter by authorized individual of the business for legalization of the document must be presented.
Attestation of Pakistan origin document(s)/misc.
Attestation of following Documents
  • Pakistani Passport/CNIC/NICOP
  • Bank forms, re-activation of dormant account.
  • Affidavit/Statement/Divorce
Mandatory Requirement(s)
  • Copies can be attested on presentation of original document(s).
  • Personal appearance of the signatory.
  • Personal appearance of the signatory.
Attestation of US origin document(s)
Attestation of following Documents
  • US Passport/Driving License
  • Salary Slip/W-2
  • Affidavit/Statement/Divorce

Mandatory Requirement(s)
  • ‘Apostilled’ by the relevant issuing State.
  • Verified by the IRS or relevant department.
  • ‘Apostilled’ by the office Secretary of State, where ‘Signatory’ is resident. Personal appearance of the ‘Signatory’.
Fee Structure

All fees are non-refundable to be paid through debit/credit cards. No other form of payment is acceptable.
