Apply Visa Online

General Guidelines
  • Visa is applied and processed online only
  • The Consulate processes applications received only from the residents within the consular jurisdiction of this Consulate. In this regard,the U.S. State issued ID/driving licence is a mandatory requirement for all types of visa applications.
  • It is important to select the right category of visa and the visa fees are non-refundable.
  • Visa processing time is 7-10 working days. All correspondence regarding the visa is done through electronically in the online application submission system.
  • To avoid cancellation of the application under “Review”, provide additional documents within 7 days.
Family Visit Visa Requirements

If you have Pakistani ID (valid or expired) or Immediate Pakistani Family Members (IPFM) i.e. parent/siblings/spouse, you may apply. Following documents are required for such visa (for long term, Machine Readable Passport (MRP) or CNIC/NICOP of the applicant is mandatory):

  • Applicant’s Pakistani ID, valid or expired (MRP/CNIC/NICOP/Birth Certificate); OR
  • If applicant has IPFM: Pakistani ID of immediate family member & proof of relationship (Birth Certificate etc.); OR
  • If applicant has spouse of Pakistani Origin: marriage certificate along with a proof of Pakistani ID, valid or expired ( CNIC/NICOP/Birth Certificate/Passport etc.); OR
  • A signed invitation letter from a relative in Pakistan along with his/her Pakistani CNIC, address & telephone number and U.S. State issued ID.
  • If applicant is below 16 Years: Birth Certificate, Parents’ Pakistani IDs and Parents’ notarized Consent Form (consent-form).
Visit/Tourist Visa Requirements
  • A signed notarized invitation letter from host/sponsor with a photocopy of sponsor's Pakistani CNIC, address & telephone number; OR
  • A hotel booking.
  • If applicant is below 16 Years: Birth Certificate, Parents’ Pakistani IDs and Parents’ notarized Consent Form (consent-form).
Business/Investor Visa Requirements
  • Recommendation letter from Chamber of Commerce and Industry of respective foreign country; OR
  • An invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by concerned Trade body; OR
  • A recommendation letter of BOI/Commercial Attaché of Pakistan /Head of Mission/SIFC; OR
  • A letter of existing business.
